TV Series: Are they actually bigger than the Bollywood big screen??

super filminess! I can have a dialogue ready for every scenario. In fact, when my brother and I get into an argument my go to is “Sale Pagal Insaan Ki Dukhan..Be Chal” but he still calls me over the top anyways. Speaking of over the top and dramatic, that’s what TV serials are just that BIG, LARGE BUDGET, AND OVERLY DRAMATIC!! But in addition to all of that, SUPER ADDICTIVE!! They’ve become like Netflix series where you start one episode and can’t possibly stop without watching the whole season.  Binging to the max??  Absolutely.

So what’s my new binge-worthy show?  It’s not the typical boy meets girl story.  In fact, it’s totally the opposite.  Supernatural with reptiles.  Any guesses?  Yep, it’s Naagin!  I mean for those of you who have not caught a glimpse of the series.  GO NOW!  Start with Season 1 and work your way through Season 3.  I have never seen any show at this stature.  The amount of effort that goes on behind the scenes is vividly depicted on-screen.  I mean come on these people have to transform from humans into snakes, yes snakes!  To give a bit of background, the show is based on Ichaadhaari Naags and Naagins (Snakes coming back for revenge!) >:D

What has happened in the past few seasons is that the snakes have had something or someone rather snatched away from their lives.  What the Naagins have done is formed some sort of plan to get their “Badla!!” aka REVENGE!!!! Add in some romance, comedy, and a dance number or two and it’s like we’ve our own mini Balaji movie going on.

Honestly, I am hooked.  Check it out for yourselves and let me know what you think of the show as well!

Hope y’all enjoyed the post and were able to relate!  Leave your comments and share your thoughts below! Signing off for now until next week!

Yours Truly,
The Bollywood Buff! 🙂
